Managing Director
Matthew has more than 15 years in the timber industry, with deep knowledge of Australian and international timber markets. His experience spans operations, logistics and sales leadership at industry businesses including Liemex. He holds a degree in International Studies from the University of South Australia.

Founder, Senior Timber and Design Specialist
Rod founded Durable Hardwoods in the late 1990s to supply quality, ecologically sourced Australian hardwoods. A qualified accountant with government auditing experience in Papua New Guinea and Australia, he developed his passion for timber in PNG.
His expertise covers timber applications, grading standards and design. Rod continues to guide the team, setting the standard for treating suppliers and clients with equal respect.
Timber Design and Architecture Consultant
Renee focuses on timber specification for residential and commercial projects. A Bachelor of Architectural Design graduate from the University of Adelaide, she works in Rhino 7, AutoCAD and Revit.
She works with architects through the design process, reviewing drawings and recommending hardwood solutions that meet both the design and Building Code requirements.
