Step 1: Project Requirements & Compliance
Contact Matt with your project details. For government and civil projects, we need to know:
- Specific department or council requirements
- Environmental conditions and exposure levels
- Required compliance documentation and certifications
- Sustainability and environmental criteria
- Timeline and procurement procedures
Step 2: Technical Assessment & Compliance
Drawing on our 50+ years of combined experience, we assess timber suitability considering Australian Standards compliance, durability classifications (Class 1-4), and hazard level treatment requirements (H1-H6). We consider structural grades, environmental conditions, and NCC requirements to ensure your timber choice meets all technical and regulatory needs.
Step 3: Sourcing & Specification
Using our network of 40+ timber mills and international suppliers, we source timber that matches your exact specifications. Whether you need Australian Sourced Cedar Pine, premium Merbau, or other specialized species, we'll find the right solution. If we can’t source it affordably, we’ll direct you to another merchant who might.
Step 4: Quality Sampling
We can provide samples of all our timbers from our various mills, so you can see exactly what you’re getting.
Step 5: Delivery or Collection
Orders for delivery or collection outside retail hours can be arranged in advance. We work around your schedule to ensure smooth project flow.
